Naomi Campbell has been described as a "joy to work with" by Anna Wintour.

The US Vogue editor claimed the British model was not the trouble some fashion insiders have claimed at Fashion's Night Out in New York on Tuesday (07.09.10).

In a statement, Anna said: "Naomi was on time, professional and a joy to work with."

Sources at the event had claimed the 40-year-old beauty had been "difficult" at the party, while her representative had also demanded Naomi appear on the cover of Vogue in return for her appearance.

However, her spokesperson said: "Everything went as planned. She was very happy to walk in The Fashion Night Out Vogue show."

Naomi admitted this week she was not proud of her actions in the past - which include throwing a mobile phone at an employee and indulging in drugs - but believes she has now turned a corner.

She said: "I have a past. I'm not proud of my past, some of the circumstances I was in. I've said that a hundred times.

"But I admit to my past. I own it. I don't deny it. Denial is a very bad thing."
