Former US first lady Nancy Reagan was briefly hospitalised in London yesterday (16JUN05), after falling in her hotel room.
Reagan, 83, who is vacationing in the UK, was bruised in the fall, but resumed her visit after a quick check-up at a hospital, according to her spokeswoman JOANNE DRAKE.
Drake says, "She's walking, but she's walking slower than normal," adding that Reagan still kept several appointments after her fall - including visits with Prince Charles and former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Doctors advised Reagan, widow of former President Ronald Reagan, to limit her activities over the next few weeks to allow herself to heal.
Reagan's 10 day vacation is her first visit abroad since her husband died last June (04).17/06/2005 02:47
