Nancy Grace, the American lawyer and current contestant on Dancing With The Stars, has reacted to reports she suffered a "wardrobe malfunction" during Monday night's show. A clip circulating the internet appears to confirm the report, but Grace is denying the clothing mishap.
After finishing her routine with professional TRISTAN MACMANUS, the camera quickly panned away to the audience, with host TOM BERGERON remarking, "Let me help you out there. On the European version that would be perfectly fine". Grace was then seen burying her head in Tristan's shoulder. Despite the speculation, Nancy told US Weekly Magazine backstage, "Tonight, when we were doing our hopscotch portion of our dance, there was a little bit of movement but it did not rise to a wardrobe malfunction". The lawyer says she took the judges criticism of her routine on board, including Bruno Tonioli's remark about her being "top heavy", saying, "I take it very lightly. In fact, I didn't even understand the joke last week. He said, Oh you brought the twins? and I said Yeah, they're right over there". Despite the mishap, Grace appears to be safe from elimination on tonight's show, with Chaz Bono, David Arquette and Carson Kressley finding themselves in the bottom three. Meanwhile, JR MARTINEZ, KRISTIN CAVALLARI and Ricki Lake were among the evening's highest scorers.
