Nadya Suleman, the American woman who rose to international fame after giving birth to octuplets in 2009, claims she has considered suicide because of her children and their unruly ways, according to CNN who quote In Touch Magazine. Suleman, who recently signed up for the celebrity dating show 'Celebridate', says she has no time to discipline her kids.
The 34-year-old, who earned the moniker 'Octomum' after giving birth to eight children, said, "I hate babies, they disgust me", adding, "My older six are animals, getting more and more out of control, because I have no time to properly discipline them". The single mother claims the only way to deal with the pressure is to lock herself in the bathroom and cry, saying, "Sometimes I sit there for hours and even eat my lunch sitting on the toilet floor. Anything to get peace and quiet". Suleman, who is also said to be facing financial hardship, added, "Some days I have thought about killing myself. I cannot cope. Obviously, I love them - but I absolutely wish I had not had them".
Nadya Suleman will next appear on Hln's 'Dr Drew' on 12th July 2011. She once worked as a psychiatric technician at Metropolitan State Hospital in California and has a Science degree in Child and Adolescent Development.
