If you haven’t heard of Van Hunt by now then you’ve missed the debut of one the most incredible musicians to immerge in recent years. Imagine a big sparkly musical blender with Prince, Curtis Mayfield and Sly Stone all being interwoven then you’ll have an idea of the sound and sheer quality of this artist. Neo-soul at it’s toe tapping sing-a-longin’ best.

Campaigning for the cause we’ve found support from Alicia Keys and U2s Adam Clayton who said Van has “such a beautiful voice. It makes me feel like the world is a better place to live in.” Not bad eh?
‘Dust’ is one of those tunes that will creep up on you, jump into your head and live there for weeks. Fantastic production quality and like the majority of the greatest songs intrinsically simple.

Undeniably one of the years best singles, this could very easily, what with its cleverly constructed hooks and catchy bridges be one of the summers big hits. It most certainly deserves it.
