1. S.I. Futures Freestyle Disco (12" - Novamute)
As the second single to be lifted from the multi talented Mr Si Beggs aka S.I. Futures current lunacy-laced, and critically acclaimed album The Mission Statement, Freestyle Disco isnt really disco at all.
No, instead it is reminiscent of a Mr Oizo workout but with a lot more techno tomfoolery and harder break beats. Its going to take a lot to match the impact of his previous single We Are Not A Rock Band, and unfortunately this one doesnt manage it. The dance floor is bound to soak it up but thats about as good as it gets.
