Jonathan Rice Salvation Day Single

Those of you who have seen the 2005 Johnny Cash biopic "Walk The Line" may have noticed Jonathan Rice – he played warbler Roy Orbison. He's toured with fellow singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis, and this is the third single to be lifted from his "Trouble Is Real" album.

If you're looking for no thrills rock'n'roll then this might just be the thing for you. Sounding like it could be written by a I-can't-be-bothered Noel Gallagher, "Salvation Day" sprints along at a decent pace, but sounds the same all the way through. Verses and choruses may as well be the same thing, because it's hard to differentiate, while Rice's voice doesn't sound like that of an out-and-out rocker.
