Friday Night single review from Envy.
UK Grime has become popular certainly from the success of Dizzee Rascal. Female emcees have been on it as well like Lady Sovereign who has done well in America. Envy is hot on the tracks of these innovators and releases 'Friday Night' as a single with some heavier remixes on the release as well. The theme is about a Friday night out getting some drinks and then seeing things with 'beer goggles' and the consequences. It did make me chuckle. I must say I like this track. The whole track works really well. The music is engrossing and the lyrics work as a fun cartoon. It's for the youth but I'd drop this on the dance floor at the moment.
