Will See You Now

If I told you that this guys debut album sounds like bubbling hotpot with easily made similes to Les Rhythm Digitals gutsy eighties electro, a voice that swings between David Bowie, Beck and Jon Marsh from the Beloved and some real emotion building power cord play like that of (dare I say it?) INXS, I wouldn’t blame you in the slightest for showing a little interest.

This is a commanding selection of leftfield sounds which demonstrate an obvious talent for song writing and aptitude for getting peoples feet tapping.

There’s some good powerful driving bass lines on this album, some very clever riffs, and a whole host of infectiously catchy lyrics written with the hooks expected of the higher air-time pop tunes which forever grace our charts. ‘Golden Triangle’ and ‘Against the Wall’ actually gave me that goose bumpy feeling up my back whilst driving down the motorway with the volume up so can’t wait to hear the remixes.

Now Cagedbaby is new to Southernfried Records but expect to hear more of him everywhere soon
