Girl or Boy?...News this week has been dominated by the eventual safe arrival of Jessica Simpson's first child, though she's in no position to complain if friends and family begin sending baby-gifts for boys. Though fans were delighted with the news that Simpson had finally given birth, they were more than a little confused by the choice of name for her first daughter: Maxwell.

Green-Eyed Monster...Stars of 'The Avengers' movie are probably giving each other some well-deserved pats on the back this week, after the movie made $218 million before its U.S. release on Friday (April 4, 2012). There's little chance of Mark Ruffalo turning green with envy anytime soon either, after he landed a monumental six-movie deal to play The Hulk in a further six movies. Ker-ching!

Khloe Kardashian 2012 'E' Upfront Presentation Arrivals

Khloe Puts Family First...A defiant Khloe Kardashian this week batted away talk of her reality show being cancelled, saying she just wants to spend more time with her family this summer. On Kardashian's 'To Do' list is to play some basketball and head to London for the Olympics!

Demi to take her place at the table?...We here at Contactmusic.com would be delighted if Britney Spears signs on for this year's X Factor USA, though it appears another star could be first to join Simon and L.A. Reid. Demi Lovato is being touted as the perfect candidate to pull in the younger views, and we couldn't agree more.

Ashton Kutcher appearing to be in good spirits arrives at the basketball match between Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Rockets

Kutcher approaches Sheen territory...Not to be outdone by Mark Ruffalo's lucrative six-movie deal, Ashton Kutcher has reportedly put pen-to-paper on a new contract with Two and a Half Men. Great news indeed for fans of the series, and it's not too shabby for Kutcher either, especially with figures of $700,000 per episode being mentioned!

And For This Week's Featured Video...Heidi Klum literally lights up the streets of New York on behalf of the Bone Marrow Donor Center DKMS. The supermodel was asked to light the Empire State Building and revealed that New York was her favorite city in the world!

And Finally...It's congratulations this week to actress turned presenter Maria Menounos, who finally thwarted the all-conquering Katherine Jenkins on Dancing With The Stars. The Welsh mezzo-soprano had been dubbed "unbeatable" on this year's series, until Maria put America back to the top of the leader-board with the first perfect score of the series! Way to go Maria.
