American Exodus: We start our round-up this week with news that both Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler have announced their plans to leave the American Idol panel. Though their presence will surely be missed, it's not all bad for fans of both stars, after they spoke of their desire to concentrate on their solo careers. New music is just around the corner.

Fighting Spirit: Fans of Sylvester Stallone will have learned of the sad death of the Rocky star's son Sage this week, aged just 36. We here at Contactmusic.com send our condolences to the Stallone family, and praise the Hollywood star's professional handling of the wave of interest in the untimely death.

Murphy's Law: Eddie Murphy has sure had some bad luck - in the digital world anyway - having been 'killed off' numerous times by internet pranksters. This week was no different, and Eddie was reported to have passed away following a skiing accident in Austria. Guess what? Eddie wasn't in Austria, Eddie isn't dead, and Eddie is about to begin work on a sequel to 'Twins'. So there.

Knight and Day: Tom Cruise did whatever it took to be with his daughter Suri this week, as the visitation rights linked to his divorce from Katie Holmes were put into practise. The Hollywood star took a flight through the night - from Los Angeles to New York - to be reunited with his daughter, though did he arrive in time to take her to gymnastics class?

Pitbull To Play Concert In Obscure City After Facebook Prank

International Love: Pitbull may encounter some of his Husky friends when he travels to Alaska for a bizarre concert on his current tour. Internet pranksters are sending the hip-hop star to the remote island of Kodiak, which boasts a population of just 6,100. Fair play to Pitbull though, he's agreed to the gig!

You Can't Stop the Boss: London fans of Bruce Springsteen were incensed this week after The Boss was cut-off after apparently playing past the curfew at his Hyde Park show. Not one to be silenced though, the rocker began his Dublin show from where he left off, playing set 'closer' 'Twist and Shout' first!

Winning! Why did we ever doubt Charlie Sheen? The 'Anger Management' star continued his miraculous comeback this week by donating $1 million to America's servicemen and woman. The star's cheque to the USO (United Service Org) is the largest single contribution in the organization's history!

Charlie Sheen Pledges $1 Million To Military Charity Organization

Winning, again! Whilst on the subject of Charlie, we should probably alert all American Idol fans that they could see the man himself take up a space on the panel in the near future, having spoken of his desire to replace Jennifer Lopez or Steven Tyler on the show!

Video of the Week: As far as we're concerned, this week's hottest footage is a no brainer. So without further ado it's over to Anne Hathaway, who turned heads at the 'Dark Knight Rises' premiere in New York with a glamorous low cut, floor length gown.
