The 747s are a truly international band, with members from England, Ireland, Italy, and Germany in their ranks. They've caused enough of a stir to have been picked to support The Raconteurs, and are also hitting the road with The Kooks and Orson in the near future, before they blitz the summer festival circuit.
"Night & Day" is rock'n'roll with a 'classic' sound, featuring a solid rhythm section and escalating harmonies. In a similar way to The Strokes, they effortlessly blend multiple guitar lines and produce melodies that hook the ear. Throw in a flashy little guitar solo, and the result is an infectious tune that is well worth investigating.
