The final line-up announcements have been made for Lollapalooza 2015 in Berlin, with festival regulars Muse topping the bill and marking their fourth appearance at the legendary festival which takes place in September this year.
This year sees Lollapalooza hit Europe for the very first time, having previously only ever opened in the Americas - Chicago; Santiago, Chile; São Paulo, Brazil; and Buenos Aires, Argentina. And with its Germany premiere at the former Tempelhof Airport on September 12th - 13th, the line-up will also include a DJ set from the event's founder Perry Farrell, formerly the frontman of Jane's Addiction.
Muse have rather a lot of festival dates lined up this year for their Drones World Tour including Sonisphere, Pinkpop, Download, Roskilde and Fuji Rock, but Lollapalooza will mark their last European date of the year before they move on to Asia and South America. The band will release their seventh studio album 'Drones' on June 5th 2015, having already topped the US Alternative Rock charts with its first single 'Dead Inside'.
Muse are regulars at this iconic festival, having performed at the 2007, 2011 and 2014 editions with a host of other extraordinary acts. This year, they will join the likes of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Libertines, Sam Smith, Bastille, Fatboy Slim and Tame Impala on the epic line-up, which has also recently seen the additions of The 2 Bears (Hot Chip frontman Joe Goddard's new project), Sydney's Hayden James and New York band Joywave.
Full weekend ticket prices for Lollapalooza Berlin are priced at 119 euros.
