Secret Society Movie Review

The Secret Society in question is one of large women... sumo wrestling. Daisy (Charlotte Brittain) has a self-esteem problem due to her weight, but boyfriend Ken is into her. Eventually she ends up in the sumo scene, conquering her fears and problems in a big competition the likes of which you've never seen -- The Big Tease and Strictly Ballroom are recalled. Akin to Muriel's Wedding, Secret Society doesn't have nearly as many laughs, sadly. Interesting premise, but it's a small one. No pun intended.
