The heavy rock trio cut another show short on Tuesday (01Sep15) as Lemmy gasped his way through three songs in Austin, Texas and he and his bandmates have decided he needs another day to recover.

The 69-year-old Ace of Spades hitmaker, who underwent heart surgery in 2013, ended a show in Utah early last Thursday (27Aug15) after experiencing respiratory issues onstage. Altitude sickness was to blame and a show in Denver, Colorado on Friday (28Aug15) was cancelled.

A new message on the band's Facebook page reads: "As you might have heard, Motorhead again had to abbreviate a performance due to Lemmy not feeling well. This is a DIRECT follow-on from the altitude issues in Colorado, and clearly, Lemmy tried to get back at it too quickly.

"For this reason, MOTORHEAD will not play in San Antonio tonight, but the show will still go on with (support act) SAXON headlining. Lemmy will resume duties the moment he is PROPERLY rested and firing on all cylinders again."

The trio's next concert is scheduled for Friday (04Sep15) in Dallas, Texas.
