Unlike the bass-heavy accessories created by Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, the Brit's headphones are designed especially for fans of rock music, and help to emphasise mid-range sounds.
Explaining the need for Lemmy's phones, brand manager Andres Nicklassen told a Ces crowd that Dr. Dre's Beats line and 50 Cent's SMS Audio range favour hip-hop tunes, but are far from ideal for heavy rock fans.
He said, "It's like you're listening through a towel."
Lemmy teased his new accessories in Europe late last year (12) and the headphones will be available in America this spring (13).
Simon Cowell also launched a new earphone range in 2012, titled X Headphones.
