Motley Crue rocker Nikki Sixx is now a label boss - he has been made president of independent record company Eleven Seven Records.
The star was picked because of his "rock acumen" according to label founder Allen Kovac.
Sixx says, "I find it very interesting to take the artist's craft, the art, the music, the image, and get it out there. It comes under the heading of 'record company president,' but it's a little more than that".
Eleven Seven released The Heroin Diaries, the 2007 album from Sixx's side project Sixx:AM, and are most famous for being the label behind platinum-selling Buckcherry.
