British rocker Morrissey promises his new album marks a change in musical direction thanks to David Bowie's producer.

The former The Smiths frontman has been collaborating with TONY VISCONTI on RINGLEADER OF THE TORMENTORS and hails the diverse project as "a dazzling experience".

He says, "Tony has been exceptional and we are all very proud of the results."

And Visconti is similarly enthused by the partnership, calling the album a career highlight.

He adds, "I am two-thirds of the way through one of the best albums I've ever worked on, with not only Morrissey at his best, but also a plot which somehow involves film composer Ennio Morricone and an Italian children's choir."
