Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman and his celebrity friends Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck and Laurence Fishburne have all donated custom-built motorcycles to raise funds for a memorial to be built in honour of Reverend MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. The mean machines are being auctioned online at Charity Folks to raise money to fund the monument to be erected in Washington DC. Freeman says, "He's remembered as our prince of peace, of civil rights. We owe him something major that will keep him and his memory alive." Other celebrity items being auctioned include a pair of shoes designed and signed by Jennifer Lopez, and a CATCH ME IF YOU CAN DVD signed by Tom Hanks. King Jr was shot dead in Memphis, Tennessee in 1968.
