Monica Bellucci enjoyed kissing Daniel Craig because he's a ''sexy man''.

The 50-year-old actress has been cast opposite the Brit in the new James Bond movie 'Spectre' and although she admitted on-screen kisses can be awkward, Monica had no problem puckering lips with Daniel.

Asked whether her co-star is a good kisser, Monica said: ''Kissing someone you don't know on screen can be intimidating. Of course, Daniel is such a sexy man and that helps.

''He brings that to Bond, along with a sense of mystery and danger. We all love a little danger.''

Meanwhile, Monica also dismissed the idea that she's a Bond girl, saying she's simply too old to be given that title.

The Italian actress - who also appears alongside the likes of Lea Seydoux and Naomie Harris in the new movie - told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: ''I can't say I'm a Bond Girl because I'm too mature to be a Bond Girl. I say Bond lady; a Bond woman.

''A woman of 50 will never have the energy of a woman of 20. At 40 all women are survivors. At 50, maybe it's time for a woman to reinvent herself.''
