Actress and author Molly Ringwald reads from her new book 'When It Happens to You: A Novel in Stories' to an audience during the Miami International Book Fair at Miami Dade College.
The book is a collection of interlinked stories focusing mainly on a married couple called Phillip and Greta who are currently struggling to maintain a relationship. From the book, she reads a tale called 'My Olivia' about a woman coming to terms with her son wishing to wear dresses and be treated as a girl. 'Oliver was Marina's only child, the result of an impetuous island holiday she had taken with girlfriends in order to lift her spirits after yet another failed relationship', she reads.
