Dance star Moby has slammed music journalists who criticise his music for sounding the same when acclaimed acts like THE White Stripes don't attract the same negative write-ups. Moby came under fire in 2002 when music writers ridiculed his 18 album for sounding like its predecessor PLAY. He says, "It did seem funny when 18 was released and a lot of journalists - especially in the UK - criticised it for being similar to Play. "These are the same journalists who love Oasis - every record they make sounds the same. "They love The White Stripes, and apart from the last White Stripes record, their records sound the same."
