Miranda Lambert, the American country musician who found fame after appearing on the reality talent show 'Nashville Star', has been added to the list of performers for next month's Grammy Awards show in Los Angeles, reports CMT.com. The 27-year-old is nominated for 'Best Female Vocal', 'Best Country Album' and 'Best Country Collaboration'.
The country singer will join the likes of Lady GaGa, Cee-Lo Green and Katy Perry as performers at the 53rd annual awards show and Canadian rock band Arcade Fire will also be taking to the stage. American rapper Eminem is tipped to dominate the evening's awards and he is nominated in 10 categories including 'Album of the Year' and 'Best Rap Song'. LADY GAGA received six nods, including 'Album of the Year' and 'Best Female Pop Vocal', while KATY PERRY is up for four gongs. The awards are set to be aired live from the Staples Centre in L.A. on 13th February 2011.
A win at the GRAMMY AWARDS would mark an incredible few months for Lambert after leading the nominations at the 44th Annual Country Music Association Awards, she took home 'Best Female Vocalist of the Year' and 'Album of the Year' before performing live with country legend Sheryl Crow.
