Newlywed Miranda Lambert didn't have to look far to find her dream wedding dress - she wed beau Blake Shelton in the same ivory gown her mother wore at her nuptials 33 years ago.
The country singers exchanged vows at a lavish ceremony in Texas in front of 550 guests last weekend (14May11), and Lambert reveals she found her very own vintage frock, which doubled up as her 'something borrowed', in the back of her mum Bev's wardrobe.
Lambert, who teamed the dress with matching vintage cowboy boots, hopes the gown will bring her and her new husband as much good fortune as it has her mum and dad.
She tells Us Weekly magazine, "My parents have been married for 33 years, so this dress is already a good luck charm."
And Shelton was blown away by his blushing bride. He says, "I couldn't get over how beautiful she was."
