Miranda Kerr and her husband Orlando Bloom took their two-year-old son Flynn fishing but the family ''didn't catch a thing''.
The Victoria's Secret model and the actor decided to treat the two year old to a day by the lake but their attempts to net a fish were not successful.
However, the fact they didn't land a catch didn't hamper the family's day and they still had a great time even though they went home empty-handed.
In a series of Twitter posts with accompanying Instagram images of the trip, she said: ''Fishing with Flynn! #funfamilyday ... We're going to catch a big one xxx ...
''We didn't catch a thing but we certainly had fun! (sic)''
Miranda was keen to get stuck in herself and took control of the rod at one point to try and entice the fish to take a bite.
The couple love everything about being parents since they welcomed Flynn into the world in January 2011.
Although they are a doting mother and father, Miranda, 29, recently admitted the pair were in no rush to give their little boy a sibling.
She said: ''I love motherhood. Someday, but not right now.''
