Minka Kelly, the actress who was voted 'The Sexiest Woman Alive' by Esquire Magazine in October 2010, has spoken in depth about her new movie 'The Roommate'.
MINKA KELLY, the American actress who is currently starring alongside Leighton Meester in 'The Roommate' has spoken about making the movie and in particular how she prepared for the tense fight scenes.The psychological thriller sees Kelly play a young freshman who is assigned a room with a girl named 'Rebecca'. However, despite an initial friendship, things begin to turn sour and Rebecca becomes obsessed with her roommate's family and friends. Appearing on the 'Early Show' this week, Kelly told CHRIS WRAGGE about how she googled 'fights scenes' in order to prepare for a particularly physical shoot with Meister. Wragge vouched for the scene's authenticity, saying, "I'm going to recommend to people, it's quite physical - it's a good fight scene as far as fight scenes go. It's a good one". Darren Aronofsky's psychological thriller 'Black Swan' recently won a string of OSCAR nominations and Kelly says she's a big fan of the genre, adding, "I love movies that make me think. And really scare me just because this could actually happen".
Later in the interview, Wragge asked Kelly how she felt on being named the 'Sexiest Woman Alive', to which she replied, "I really didn't believe it. Because I was aware of the women who had the title before me. And I just thought, to be in that company, what an honor". Kelly took over from 2009's winner Kate Beckinsale, with Halle Berry the recipient in 2008 and Charlize Theron in 2007.
