Hollywood beauty Milla Jovovich battled to overcome bullying while growing up as Ukrainian teen in a Californian school. The Fifth Element star admits she did not fit in and was taunted by fellow students for the clothes she wore and was labelled a communist because of her country's Soviet past. She says, "When everyone else was wearing denim mini skirts I was wearing Chinese trainers, crazy pig tails and baggy shirts. At lunch times the kids would gather round me and stare at the food that I had, it was always strange meats and Borsch (beetroot soup), it was an alien existence."
