Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth acted like strangers, who ''barely talked or acknowledged'' each other, as they stepped out together for the premiere of 'Paranoia' in Hollywood, last night (08.07.13).
The pair - who got engaged last summer - stepped out together for red carpet event for the first time in over year mid rumours of a split, and Liam and his family didn't pay much attention to the 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker, who later gave the Hollywood hunk a ''weak kiss''.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: ''They [Liam's family] literally had their backs to her. Meanwhile, Miley and Liam barely talked or acknowledged each other. At one point, she gave him a light kiss, but it was weak. They went inside for the screening, sat next to each other, but turned away from each other and didn't really talk to each other. Meanwhile, Miley and Liam barely talked or acknowledged each other.''
The couple acted ''like strangers'' and Liam was not particularly affectionate toward his beau even though she was still wearing her engagement ring.
Another insider added: ''At the party, they acted like strangers. Even when they were standing right next to each other, they would never touch -- hold hands, put their arms around each other, or anything like that -- it was like they didn't even know each other.''
Liam who seemed moody the whole evening only perked up when he met Harrison Ford.
The source added: ''The only time Liam seemed happy was when he was talking to Harrison Ford.''
