Miley Cyrus reached out to her father Billy Ray Cyrus for the second time on Twitter since her mother Tish filed for divorce, to wish him happy Father's Day amid speculation she has taken her mother's side.
Miley Cyrus has dismissed rumours she has sided with her mother in the wake of her parents' split.
The 20-year-old singer, whose mother, Tish, filed for divorce from her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, on Thursday (13.06.13) after 19 years of marriage, citing ''irreconcilable differences,'' reached out to her dad on Father's Day on Sunday (16.06.13).
She wrote on Twitter: ''Happy Daddy Day @Billyraycyrus,'' along with a big love heart.
The 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker sparked speculation that she is on team Tish, after posting a new photograph of them posing together with her younger sister Noah on Saturday with the caption: ''The baddest b*****s in the WORLD @noahcyrus @tishcyrus''
Country singer and actor Billy Ray, 51, has yet to officially comment on the divorce but Miley previously hinted that she has not been able to reach him either.
In a message posted to him on Twitter on Thursday, she wrote: ''@BillyRayCyrus since your text and email obviously aren't working would you like to talk like this?''
Her sister Noah, 13, has thanked people for supporting her and her family, tweeting: ''Thank you everyone off of Twitter AND Instagram for your prayers it means a lot to my family and me.''
Tish is seeking full physical and legal custody of the teenager in her divorce, which comes just three years after Billy Ray filed for divorce, blaming it on Miley's starring role on 'Hannah Montana,' but he later dropped his petition in a bid to make their marriage work.
