Miley Cyrus has returned to Twitter, almost a year and a half after quitting the social networking site.
Miley Cyrus, the American singer and actress, has made her long awaited return to Twitter after posting a message from the account of her long-time record producers Rock Mafia, reports E! Online.Speaking to her legion of fans, the 18-year-old wrote, "This is my new way to connect. When I need to speak out I will tweet from @Rock_Mafia Rock Mafia FOREVER xMC". After initial scepticism from her followers, Miley confirmed her identity by posting a picture of herself with the songwriter and producer Antonina Armato during a studio session yesterday (20th March 2011). The Rock Mafia posted a message shortly after, explaining that Miley would "tweet from here till we convince her to make a new account!!!!". Cyrus sent her last 'tweet' in October 2009, referring her then boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, saying, "Fyi Liam doesn't have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason".
Miley Cyrus recently completed work on two forthcoming movies, 'Lol: Laughing Out Loud' and 'So Undercover'. 'Lol' is a remake of the 2008 French teen comedy in which Cyrus plays "a daughter who is involved with all the wrong kids, doing drugs, failing school, but whose mother has her on this perfect pedestal".
