The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker, who confirmed she and the Australian actor had ended their engagement last week, has dismissed speculation she is putting on a brave face and is heartbroken over the demise of her four-year relationship.
The 20-year-old star tweeted on Friday night (27.09.13): ''I'm exhausted from being so fucking happy. In bed at 9:45 & it feels so good. #booksinbed''
Miley, who cried on stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last weekend, is currently reading the best-selling novel 'The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao' by Junot Díaz and hinted that she is trying to distract herself from her relationship woes.
She wrote: ''Use your MIND to have a good time''
The petite blonde star is rumoured to be dating her producer Mike WiLL Made It but his spokesperson denied they are more than friends earlier this week, saying: ''They have been spending a lot of time together because they are working so closely together on [Miley's] album.
''[They work] closely professionally and it is all about the music.''
