Miley Cyrus, representing disappointed 20-something rich kids across the world.
Miley Cyrus was snubbed at last weekend’s Grammy awards, so she took the “who needs them anyway” approach. Like any girl in her 20s would do, Miley busted out the Guitar Hero and spent a night at home, not forgetting to take a few selfies in the process.
"Photo from my performance this evening...." Cyrus, 21, tweeted on Sunday, Jan. 26. And it wasn’t a shot of the Staples Center stage. Instead, the picture showed Miley, makeup-free and lounging in bed with a Guitar Hero controller. And just in case fans hadn’t gotten the first snap, she drove the point home with a video later that night. The clip shows Miley playing to "Rock and Roll All Nite" by KISS and is appropriately captioned: “"Video of tonights performance.”
After attending Clive Davis' pre-party, Miley didn't feel like turning up the glamour for the Grammys themselves.
In keeping with the theme, she was dressed down in grey sweatpants and a black and white striped long-sleeve shirt. Despite skipping the show itself, Cyrus took an active part in the pre-Grammy festivities earlier in the weekend. On the 25th, she attended Clive Davis’ annual Grammy pre-party at the Beverly Hilton hotel. She wore a white Calvin Klein Collection dress and walked in linking arms with the music mogul himself, Us Weekly reports. She even performed a three-song set for the crowd inside, so the weekend wasn’t a total bust.
Was the picture in response to Miley's Grammy snub?
