Miley Cyrus has reached out to the troubled actor Charlie Sheen on Twitter, claiming he was the reason why she returned to the micro-blogging site, reports the Toronto Sun. The teen star deleted her profile back in 2009 but began 'tweeting' from her new account on Sunday (3rd April 2011).
Cyrus' return to Twitter came just days after she publically criticised social networking sites for intruding on her private life. The 18-year-old Hannah Montana star told her new followers why she decided to make the return, saying, "Do not fear... the Sheenius is here! I'm not gonna lie. I came back to Twitter for 2 reasons. My fans and to follow Charlie Sheen. Winning". To the delight of Miley and her followers, the 'Two and a Half Men' actor personally tweeted back to the singer, saying, "Dear Miley, Welcome back to Twitter! Always felt you were epic... Now you proved it! Thanks for the love!" Cyrus responded with, "I always felt the same about you! You have taught me everything I know about Winning. Duh!".
Miley Cyrus' tweets come as Charlie Sheen continues his 'My Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour'. The 45-year-old was heavily criticised for his opening night in Detroit, but he won over the critics after his second show in Chicago.
