Miley Cyrus is back and brought the 'Bangerz' tour to London, looks like the singer is well and truly back on form.
Miley Cyrus has come back with a bang(erz)! Bringing her controversial tour to London, on Tuesday night at the O2 Arena she delighted her fans with all her out, pop-tastic show, complete with all the props, costumes and dance moves we'd come to expect from the 'Wrecking Ball' singer. But's what's the verdict, is the full on Miley spectacular a hit or a miss with fans and critics alike?
Miley brought her Bangerz tour to the O2 on Tuesday
Poor Miley Cyrus hasn't been feeling herself lately, last month she was hospitalised after suffering an allergic reaction to some antibiotics and forced to cancel some dates on her tour. Now, Miley is feeling much, much better and she’s landed in London with her Bangerz tour hitting the capital like a wrecking ball. Twerking, suggestive props, a few drug references and a whole lot of costume changes, lock up your kids, Miley mania has hit London!
Loud, crazy, colourful and provocative, it’s the Miley Cyrus Bangerz tour and it’s just restarted in London. After just one night back on stage, Miley is already headline news again. Why? Well lets see, onstage last night she apparently, swore a lot, told fans she was sure they’d been “smoking weed” and “taking tons of pills”, asked fans to kiss members of the same sex, oh and spat some water out. Cover your eyes kids, this isn’t Disney anymore.

But who thought it would be? Probably just the tabloid reporters who were stationed outside to ask parents how they felt about their children seeing the show. On the whole, they didn't seem to mind too much, because unless you’ve been living in a self imposed media exile for the past year, you know what to expect when you attend a Miley Cyrus concert.
As the twitterverse will tell you, Miley Cyrus actually puts on a pretty awesome show. Even Lily Allen had a good time, after the concert she tweeted “That was basically the best thing I've ever seen.” The reviewers in attendance where also happy to enter Miley’s pop trash universe for one wild night. The Telegraph called it “an eye-popping show that nodded to everyone from Monty Python to Jeff Koons” describing it as “a kind of Fantasia as imagined by Kenny Everett.“ The Guardian’s Alexis Petridis found it ”so gleefully, dementedly, cartoonishly vulgar that it's almost impossible not to be entertained.”
Miley's costumes are just one talking point of her Bangerz show
Pop art, pop trash, pop-tastic! Miley Cyrus has hit the UK and we’re guessing she won’t stop. Whatever your opinion on the singer and how she’s currently choosing to present herself, there’s no denying that Miley is an entertainer. An entertainer who by most accounts is delivering a fun night out for all. She may not be Hannah Montana anymore, but who cares, Miley is Miley and we wouldn't have her any other way.
