Mike Myers, the Hollywood actor and comedian, is to become a dad for the first time at the age of 47. Mike Myers and his wife Kelly Tisdale are expecting their first child, due this fall, reports the New York Post.
Tisdale, a co-founder of the Lower East Side cafe 'Teany', was spotted with friends in New York earlier this week "looking glowing" and "showing off a neat bump". After rumours of pregnancy began to circulate, Myers representative confirmed the news, saying, "I can confirm they are expecting a child". The famously private star of 'Austin Powers' secretly married Tisdale last fall after the couple had dated for four years. A representative did not confirm the marriage until March 2011, saying, "They were married in a private ceremony and celebrated with family and friends". The couple got together shortly after Myers had split from his first wife, the comedy writer and actress Robin Ruzan, having been married to her for 12 years. The pair divorced in December 2005 having had no children together.
Mike Myers made an appearance in Quentin Tarantino's 2009 movie 'Inglorious Basterds' and reprised his role as 'Shrek' for last year's 'Shrek Forever After'. He is currently working on an untitled biopic of The Who's infamous drummer Keith Moon, who died in 1978.
