Tulisa is ''innocent'' and has ''not done anything'' claims Mike GLC who was arrested along with the former N-Dubz star yesterday in connection with supplying Class A drugs.
Tulisa is ''innocent'' and isn't a drug fixer, claims her friend Mike GLC.
The singer was arrested along with the 34-year-old rapper yesterday (05.06.13) on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs after allegedly facilitating the sale of £800 worth of cocaine last week, but Mike believes the former N-Dubz star will bounce back from the scandal, which could cost her over £1 million in lost endorsements.
Tulisa, 24, was reportedly filmed admitting she could arrange for cocaine and cannabis - which she refers to as ''white sweets'' and ''green sweets'' - to be delivered to an undercover reporter before her pal, Mike, was recorded delivering the drugs to the Dorchester Hotel, boasting that the cocaine was ''top of the line.''
After the pair were bailed last night, pending further police inquiries, Mike was adamant the footage had been'' taken out of context'' and insists the truth will come out eventually.
Speaking outside Belgravia police station, he explained: ''Anyone can edit or chop things together on video. The truth will come out in the end. I don't want to go into much more detail. I am going home to be with my family. This is ruining my life. I am not a dealer. I have never sold drugs in my life.
''I've been released on bail. I can't speak for Tulisa and I don't know what her position is. It's two separate things.
''I can't think why there should not be a reason for her to come back''
Tulisa - who was desperate to break America with her singing career - was held in a cell for several hours, during which time she had her finger prints taken and a mouth swab DNA sample whilst detectives searched her mansion in Hertfordshire for evidence.
A Met police spokesmen said: ''Officers have today, June 4, arrested two people, a 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.''
The offence Tulisa faces carries a maximum penalty of life imprisonment for those convicted.
The footage obtained by a Sunday newspaper last week showed the singer claiming she could get the reporter ''whatever they want''.
She said: ''Half my phone book sells it. Of course I can get it for you.
''Half the guys I know are drug dealers. One's a massive cocaine dealer. He's my best friend.
''We talk in lingo. Like we know what. I can't call him and go, 'Have you got any?' I'll say, 'Hi, have you got any sweets?' ... And I'm referring to what he knows is what. Like we have a whole lingo.''
