Sir Mick Jagger was wearing ''glamouflage'' when The Rolling Stones headlined Glastonbury.
The 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' singer's bright green jacket was especially designed by his girlfriend, L'Wren Scott, and Mick wanted it to reflect the English countryside where the band were playing at the festival in Somerset, Southern England, at the end of last month.
He explained to WWD: ''We started to think about the Glastonbury show and I said to her that [I wanted] something very English - an oak leaf. That's where we started from in the Glastonbury show, nobody [in the audience] realised they were really oak leaves - but I did.
''It's important. Most people just think it's a bright green jacket, but if you look you can see. Glastonbury is an essentially English event.''
L'Wren added: ''We were joking about the glamouflage at Glastonbury, and he said 'Well I want it to be oak leaf.' So if you look at it closely you see the oak leaves - it's quite cool.
''It just felt very right for Glasto, to open the show with a very outdoorsy feel - and the crowd was incredible.''
The Rolling Stones also headlined Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park last Saturday (06.07.13) and will headline again tomorrow (13.07.13), and at both of those shows Mick's outfits include a huge gorilla coat L'Wren designed for the tour, and an embroidered jacket inspired by the paintings of Gustav Klimt, made from silk, gold leather and metallic threads.
L'Wren said this piece is ideal as it catches the setting sun.
She added: ''I said, 'Look it's going to be beautiful because you have the gold in the light, and it's not going to be nighttime when you go on stage, and this is going to have so much stage value and light.' I [also] made him a special python belt that he wore - in gold.''
