Sir Mick Jagger took out an injunction to block the release of his love letters, according to an ex-girlfriend.
The Rolling Stones legend penned a series of romantic notes during his heyday in the 1960s and 1970s but allegedly obtained a court order to ban any publication of the letters.
Model/actress Chrissie Shrimpton, younger sister of modelling icon Jean Shrimpton, dated Jagger for three years from 1963 and claims to have discovered the injunction when a pal later suggested she sell her hoard of love letters.
Shrimpton reveals she was so "disgusted", she sent the notes back to Jagger.
She says, "Mick Jagger had put up an injunction preventing their publication on the grounds that while I owned the paper they were written on, he owned the words... I was so disgusted I sent most of the letters back to him."
Another of Jagger's former lovers, singer Marsha Hunt, is selling her letters from the star at an auction in London next month (Dec12).
