L'wren Scott's sister Jan Shane has slammed Mick Jagger's behaviour, claiming he was a "bigger part of her [sister's] troubles."
L’wren Scott’s sister, who was estranged from the fashion designer before her death, has a few choice words for Mick Jagger. 53-year-old Jan Shane has been quite vocal since the Rolling Stone began to be photographed with a bevy of beautiful women less than three months after Scott's suicide. “The more I think about it, the angrier it makes me. My sister deserves more respect. I now believe that he was a bigger part of her troubles than we knew about,” Shane told the Daily Mirror.
L'Wren Scott's sister has slammed the 70-year-old rocker for moving on less than three months after the death of the designer
Shane’s comments come after Jagger was photographed on a balcony with 27-year-old ballet dancer Melanie Hamrick. Hamrick appeared to be wearing one of Jagger’s t-shirts as she leaned over the 70-year-old rocker.
Furious Shane feels that Jagger is disrespecting her sister with his canoodling: “My sister deserved so much more than that. It’s a terrible thing for Mick to have done. It’s sad. His life goes on as if nothing happened. He’s still out with woman, but a huge part of our family is missing.” She added: “It doesn’t surprise me at all. I’m just really glad that L’Wren doesn’t have to put up with him anymore. She had accomplished so much without him. She was amazing in so many people’s eyes. He just needs to quite dragging her name through his crap!”
Jagger had been involved in a relationship with fashion designer L'Wren Scott for the decade before her suicide
The Rolling Stones are currently touring Europe and Jagger was seen stepping out with his ex-wife Jerry Hall and their two children to celebrate Father’s Day on June 16.
