The Rolling Stones frontman - who is fiercely protective of his stunning offspring - has told the couple he is "very happy" that they have embarked on a romance.
Jagger and Lennon were close friends throughout the 1960s and 1970s, despite the public rivalry between their respective bands.
A source close to Jagger says, "He's aware of the relationship and seems perfectly happy about it.
"He wishes them well."
