Michelle Williams has revealed she feels comforted by her fans during her times of need and gets emotional thinking about the connection she shares with them.
Michelle Williams is ''comforted'' by her fans.
The 32-year-old actress is ''appreciative'' of the support given from those who look up to her during her times of need - such as when her ex-boyfriend and father to her seven-year-old daughter Matilda, Heath Ledger, passed away from an accidental overdose in 2008 - and feels overwhelmed by their kind words throughout her moments of heartbreak.
She said: ''It's very comforting to know people care. This is a profession where your life gets blurred with your work, which can be a good and bad thing because you're trying to reach people through the characters your play.
''I get very emotional when I realise there's that kind of connection, and I appreciate it deeply.''
The 'Oz the Great and Powerful' star felt especially unsettled in her 20s when she gave birth to Matilda in 2005 and felt wary of making any ''big decisions'' as she felt they would determine the rest of her life.
She added to LOOK magazine: ''Most people experience that sort of transitional phase during their 20s. you feel like you're making big decisions that are going to affect the rest of your life and you're going to have to stick by them [forever].
''I looked around my circle of friends, that's what I saw, this moment of big decisions and a lot of indecisions.''
