Michelle Keegan stole the show at the TV Choice Awards on Monday night (10.09.12).

The 'Coronation Street' star scooped the Best Actress prize for her portrayal of barmaid Tina McIntyre in the ITV1 soap at the ceremony at London's Dorchester Hotel, where she stunned in a simple white dress and statement silver accessories.

Other success stories on the night were Shane Richie, who took home the Best Actor gong for playing Queen Vic landlord Alfie Moon in 'Eastenders', which won Best Soap.

'Doctor Who' was named Best Family Drama at the ceremony and the sci-fi show's creator Steve Moffat won another award when his creation 'Sherlock' was named Best Drama Series, while its leading man Benedict Cumberbatch was named Best Actor.

Other winners saw 'The Hairy Bikers' Bakeation' pick up the prize for Best Food Show, 'Call The Midwife' won Best New Drama and 'The Jeremy Kyle Show' was the recipient of Best Daytime Show.
