Troubled pop star Michael Jackson's aides are convinced a taped interview with his child molestation accuser will prove his innocence.

In a recorded session with private investigator BRAD MILLER, alleged teenage victim GAVIN ARVIZO denied the THRILLER singer sexually abused him at his NEVERLAND RANCH home in Santa Barbara, California, reports Britain's THE SUN newspaper.

Jackson's lawyers are battling to keep the vital piece of evidence safe from prosecutors, who are reportedly planning to dismiss the cassette's relevance, claiming the Arvizo family were forced to read a script.

The music star denies committing a lewd act on a child, administering an intoxicating agent and conspiring to commit child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion.
