The multi-talented son of Mia Farrow is taking to television.
Ronan Farrow, the son of actress Mia Farrow, is joining MSNBC to host his own weekday show that will reportedly focus on youth activism. The 25 year-old law school graduate, journalist and human rights activist has also worked as part of the Obama administration as a foreign policy official, founded the State Department's Office of Global Youth Issues, and is adviser to youth on the Nigerian AIDS epidemic, Angola and Darfur.
Mia Farrow, Ronan's Mother, Has Caused A Stir Recently.
Speaking about the upcoming arrival of Ronan's show MSNBC chief Phil Griffin said that "Ronan has established himself as a provocative, independent journalist capable of challenging people's assumptions and empowering audiences," in a statement announcing the news. "His show will be a game changer for MSNBC, representing a fresh approach to how we deliver news."
Born Satchel Ronan O'Sullivan Farrow, Ronan is the son of Mia and director Woody Allen. However, there has been longstanding speculation over the Ronan's paternity and it is suspected that Mia's ex-husband, singer Frank Sinatra, is his father.
Mia made headlines earlier this month when she revealed that Ronan could "possibly" be Sinatra's son. "Listen, we're all 'possibly' Frank Sinatra's son," joked Ronan via Twitter.
This won't be the first time this MSNBC has taken a gamble with hosts who have never had their own show before: Alec Baldwin's late night show, Up Late With Alec Baldwin debuted last week to a mixed, but largely positive reception.

"This is a new generation of news show for a new, more engaged generation of viewers," Farrow said of his new career direction in a statement, via USA Today. "It's a show about why the news matters to you -- and what you can do to be a part of the story."
"I'm excited to shake up people's expectations for cable news. And to get a ton of Twitter followers," he added. Farrow's MSNBC debut date is yet to be confirmed but is expected sometime in January 2014.
