Metallica star Kirk Hammett is set to show off his vast collection of horror memorabilia in a new book.
The rocker's first tome, entitled Too Much Horror Business - The Kirk Hammett Collection, features over 300 full colour images from the star's private vaults.
Hammett also opens up about his love of all things horror to writer Steffan Chirazi.
He says, "This is my gift to all the other horror nerds out there who are just like me. It's been made with great love for all the many characters and movies which guided me through childhood, into adulthood and which still keep me on track today."
The book will be previewed at Metallica's upcoming Orion Music festival in Atlantic City, New Jersey and it will be available to fans just in time for Halloween (Oct12).
In addition to Too Much Horror Business, Hammett is also launching a range of limited-edition horror figures.
He adds, "I've spent my life collecting toys, so what could be more fun than making a series of toys which indulge my childhood fantasies and which people can collect."
