Metallica have announced a pre-show and after party at London's Indigo2 venue.
The heavy metal four-piece perform at the O2 Arena on Monday September 15th in a fanclub-only show to celebrate the release of their ninth studio album Death Magnetic.
But the arena's sister venue, the Indigo2 will open its doors at 14:00 BST for an entire day of Metallica-themed entertainment.
The Death Magnetic pre-show and after party is in association with popular videogame Guitar Hero and includes giveaways, a chance to hear Death Magnetic in its entirety and DJ sets from Metal Hammer DJ' s James Isaacs, Terry Bezer and James Gill as well as Radio 1 Rock Show host Daniel P Carter.
The pre-show will take place from 14:00 until 20:00 and the after-party will take place from approximately 22:30 until 01:30, while river taxis will run from the Greenwich venue until 02:00.
Entry will be free for those who are going to the gig and you will need to be over 18 to gain entry.
And as part of the Guitar Hero tie-in, fans will have the chance to play along to tracks from Death Magnetic as well as taking part in a videogame duel with Skunk Anansie guitarist Ace.
