Hollywood legends Meryl Streep and Jodie Foster turned out to support director Jonathan Demme as he was honoured for his filmmaking career in New York on Saturday (14Jun14).
Officials at the Jacob Burns Film Center feted Demme with the JBFC Vision Award in recognition of his work as a director and producer.
Streep, who worked with Demme on 2004's The Manchurian Candidate, was on hand to present him with his prize, while the director's The Silence of the Lambs star Foster was also in the audience.
The trio posed for pictures together after the ceremony.
Streep and Demme are teaming up again for a new comedy/drama titled Ricky and the Flash, in which the Oscar winner plays a mother who abandons her family to find fame and fortune.
