Mel Gibson's former mistress has offered to help his wife win the divorce battle of the century - because she still hasn't forgiven the actor for two-timing her.
Comedian Diana Alouise insists she would never have dated the Mad Max star if he had been honest about his marital status when they met in the late 1980s - and now she wants to make sure the Aussie actor/director's wife Robyn wins everything in court.
Alouise tells America's the Globe, "We had a hot love affair based on sex, alcohol and partying, but it never would have happened if I had known the truth.
"He told me he was married but that technically he wasn't with his wife anymore. I didn't really have any reason to believe otherwise."
She claims she romanced the actor for six months, but dumped Gibson after she realised he was married and had no plans to leave his wife.
Alouise is now keen to make up for the fact she slept with another woman's husband: "If she (Robyn) had to prove that he (Mel) cheated on her so that she could get the settlement, then I would help her. I would stand up in court and do what I needed to do."
Alouise, who once passed a polygraph test when she first came forward with allegations Gibson had cheated on his wife with her, adds, "I still wonder why Robyn stayed with him through it all, but one thing I'm certain of is that she should get half of his fortune. She deserves it."
Robyn filed for divorce from Gibson earlier this month (Apr09), citing "irreconcilable differences". The actor has since revealed the couple split almost three years ago.
