Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown has dropped 33 pounds (15 kilograms) to achieve her goal weight just six months after giving birth to her third child.
Scary Spice, also known as Mel B, put on 66 pounds (30 kilograms) while pregnant with her daughter Madison and she was so determined to lose the baby weight, she signed up to front the Jenny Craig healthy eating regime weeks after the tot's birth in September (11).
Now Brown is showing off her new svelte figure on the cover of Australia's Woman's Day magazine after regaining her pre-pregnancy body - and she's convinced the weightloss has had a positive impact on her parental duties.
She tells the magazine, "The six-pack is back! I'm the same girl from 15 years ago... Losing weight has made me the best mum possible. My energy's up!"
And Brown reveals she can also fit back into her 13-year-old daughter Phoenix's jeans, which she had previously handed down to the teen.
She says, "Well, the jeans were mine in the first place. She stole them off me when I was pregnant, but now I fit back into them. So I'm taking them (her clothes) back, one by one."
Madison is Brown's first child with husband Stephen Belafonte. The Brit is also mother to Angel, four, from her relationship with comedian Eddie Murphy.
