Scary Spice lived up to her name when she thought the future of their new collaboration - G.E.M - hung in the balance
While pregnancy announcements are normally greeted with nothing but excitement, it seems one Spice Girl lived up to her nickname when she heard about Geri Horner’s baby news. Mel B, a.k.a. Scary Spice has reportedly been left frustrated by news of a second mini Ginger Spice because it could get in the way of a Spice (or G.E.M as they’re now known) reunion.
Mel B doesn't want anything to get in the way of a Spice Girls' reunion
Reports have surfaced that the 41-year-old has been complaining to pals about Geri’s baby news and, as soon as Mrs Horner made her big announcement, Mel B unfollowed her on Instagram.
It seems Scary believes the pitter patter of tiny feet could unhinge her musical comeback which includes new material by her, Geri and Baby Spice - Emma Bunton.
According to The Mirror, a source said of Mel’s moaning: "It’s a good job Geri is so zen nowadays because if she’d heard about Mel’s moanings things could have escalated.
"However, Mel’s desperate for the reunion to go ahead so when she realised Geri was still totally on board with doing Spice stuff next year everything seemed to be smoothed over."
Geri, 44, recently announced she is expecting her second child - already being mum to Bluebell Madonna, ten.
It will be her first with new husband, Christian Horner.
